Vista Hills Winemaking Partner Scores Well

Laurent Montalieu has been awarded a 91 from Wine Enthusiast for his 2005 Solena Cellars Pinot Noir. The wine was crafted using grapes from Vista Hills Vineyard vines. Congratulations to Laurent, whose winemaking prowess continues to be on display here at Vista Hills.

"Soft yet intense scents of raspberry, strawberry and rose petals glide into a silky sweekt midpalate," writes the Enthusiast. Montalieu makes the 2006 Estate Pinot Gris and 2005 Treehouse Pinot Noir, both offered at the Treehouse Tasting Room. The '05 Treehouse was made using the same fruit of the same vintage as Montalieu's award-winning Pinot Noir.
