Budbreak Settles In At The Vineyards

The view from the Treehouse is painted with every shade of green imaginable at the moment. Spring has truly sprung, making its presence felt in the vinyards in the form of budbreak. This is an exciting time in wine country, as the beginnings of the coming vintage have awakened and the vineyard rows themselves begin to fill out in lushness and color. Unlike 2008, bud break appears right on schedule this year thanks in part to a few recent warm spells.
