Rice Pinot Noir Debuts In Texas

On October 18th, Houston Wine Merchant officially releases our lovely 2010 Rice Estate Pinot Noir. The wine is named after the University in Houston, where owner John McClintock went to school.

Our National Sales Manager Adam English and John McClintock's grandson Sequoyah, a current Rice student, will be at the event. The wine celebrates Rice University's centennial, as well as Vista Hills' ongoing efforts to aid college students via the Clint Foundation. This limited production wine is made from estate fruit and is showing the brigh, red-fruit characteristics our younger blocks of vines are known for.
